Happy St Patrick’s Day 2014

Here’s a quick celebration of my Irish heritage. I’m wearing green today. My green sweater got too hot so I switched to a green tee instead. I drank green coffee (it’s magically delicious). We’re having corned beef & cabbage. We’re watching The Quiet Man. That’s St Patrick’s Day at the Knowlan household. How about you?

Shamrock Shakes

So, my kids have been on a Shamrock Shake battle. I’m not sure who’s winning on the shakes-consumed index, but that’s a lot of minty goodness. I’ve had one this year, so that’s good enough. Didn’t get to have any today, but I did brew some green coffee (decaf). 8 drops of green food color added to the grounds did the trick. Here’s a shot of my coffee
