Early Christmas Presents

This week has been a veritable gift basket of early Christmas presents!

We got to attend Connor’s Acting II Showcase presentation yesterday and we’ll be seeing his dance program on Friday. That’s a treat any time of the year.

Another treat is that Emmeline also came to see the acting presentation, so we got to go to Walmart with her afterward and spend some time with her as well.

Eartha Kitt “SantaBaby” from New Faces

Santa Baby is one of the many Christmas songs that I don’t happen to enjoy that much. As least-favorite songs go, few of them have a favorite version.

While I’m not that wild about the song in general, I absolutely love the version sung by Eartha Kitt (aka Catwoman from the 60’s Batman TV show). There’s just something about her voice that can make even the worst songs really enjoyable.

I still need to tack the clincher on A Misfit Clincher, but it’s just not coming to me yet. That’s okay, I technically have until next year to get to that. 🙄

The visitor’s announcement that they no longer need the Conclave sort of threw me for a loop. Fortunately, Priscilla has a plan. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of her colleagues. I imagine that Meirhe will be disappointed, but she has her own problems to attend to.
