National Boston Cream Pie Day 2024
For National Boston Cream Pie Day, I’d probably be bummed that I can’t have any but the miracles never cease. So, it looks like I’m all set.

What is Boston Cream Pie without Boston? Please don’t Google it. You’ll probably be unimpressed with what shows up.
What is America without Boston? This is a city that was crucial in the formation of our country.
This is also a city I’ve never been to. I’ve been on the semi-infinite beltway around Boston, but I haven’t been into the city proper.
I’ll fix that some day. It would be cool to see the Old North Church, take the Paul Revere tour, see where the Tea Party took place.

I imagine that you’re waiting for me to make some kind of thematic leap from unexpected hot weather or Bostonian celebrities to something I’m working on, but no.
I have no meaningful segue.
The story is eluding me this year. In most cases, I start the ball rolling and it goes builds momentum until I get to the end.
Sadly, I’m floundering this time around.
I’m playing with some options that may or may not work out, but I do certainly need to get the hell on with it.
Being one of those years where I’m still writing right up to the wire is not something I’d like to have happen.
I’m just so damned tired. I’ve got nothing left in the tank at the end of the day. I just want to sleep.
That’s it for this chocolate glazed Hump 🐫 Day. I hope you have a sweet, custardy remainder of your week.
