Happy Hump πŸͺ Day of both the week and the month. The sudden lurch into 🌞 summer πŸ”₯ weather has me craving some 🍧 frozen treats 🍦. It’s nice to see flowers starting to pop up, but I’ll be looking at them from beside a fan…

Fair daffodils, we weep to see, You haste away so soon… ~Robert Herrick

Aren’t they lovely?

They’re happy and yellow. They stand tall on their mellow green stalks.

What a fabulous little pop of πŸ’ Spring 🌷 to decorate the world while we warm up from the final clutches of wintertime.

Apparently, they’re poisonous as heck, but they’re certainly pretty to look at.

🌞 The Heat Is On… πŸ”₯

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up… there is really no such thing as bad weather. ~John Ruskin

Be that as it may, good weather is best experienced with proper HVAC.

That’s how I view it, anyway.

Back when I had a laptop, I tried to sit out back in the “good weather” and get some fresh air while I wrote.

Ultimately, that was unsatisfactory.

I had to dash inside if it threatened to rain, if the bugs got out of control, if the sun went down.

It wasn’t all bad, but it was sufficiently not-good to let me give it up as a bad habit.

Now that I’m writing and working from the couch, I’m considerably happier with the controlled environment.

That’s all for today. See you back on Saturday for incredible 🍳 edible πŸ₯š eggs…
