Actually Forgot It Was Saturday

This is getting done a bit late because I literally forgot that it was Saturday. That is to say, I just didn’t care what day of the week it is. I’m enjoying my vacation so much that I’ve lost all track of time.

Fortunately, I still have off every Monday for the rest of the year. Having to go back to work on Monday would have been entirely too jarring.

Fortunately, my time off has afforded me an opportunity to get ahead on this year’s Holiday Season Serial Romance. I still have to write some more, but I gave myself some breathing room. I can write as much as I can before Tuesday and not be running right up against the wire.

So, I didn’t get to start as early as I wanted but getting some time to go heads down on the work has put me in a good position.

I don’t feel nearly as strongly about doing it from scratch as this guy does. Fortunately, the Walmart had some on the shelf.

I don’t care how they made it. The important thing is that they made it and not me. Food almost always tastes better when somebody else makes it.

Not that I can’t cook. I just prefer to leave it to those who like to.

New Beginning

So, Holly and Ivy finally started participating in the storytelling process and I’m making serious progress. That’s a good thing since there’s a hard deadline.

If only The Sentinels were as accommodating. I had to completely rethink the approach I was taking.

The core storyline is still basically the same but the person and tense needed to change in order to keep the tridecology internally consistent. The stuff I wrote that’s in 1st/Present can be used for ancillary support works.

Meanwhile, Tales Of Olde Auringia insists on being paid attention to. Seems like that’s the hard deadline for the primary line of work. I’ve got to get through the first trilogy of the Sentinels (at the very least) so that the Tales can get told.

Geez, so much for vacation. I’m behind again…

That’s all for today. I’m going back to bed. I have to power up for the next batch of writing. Have a great weekend.
