Cookie Time!

We’ve been waiting for the Halloween candy to run out so that we can start baking the heck out of some Christmas cookies! With Thanksgiving serving as the official front door to the holiday season, it’s time to bust out the batter and cookie sheets.

No Place Like Home

I love having my college kids home however briefly. It just feels more like home with all the kiddos doing their thing under one roof.

Bake Those Cookies!

Everybody loves Christmas cookies. There’s something extra special about Christmas cookies in comparison to regular, run of the mill cookies. It just isn’t Christmastime without the scent of freshly baked cookies wafting through the house.

Attitude

Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse. ~Henry Van Dyke

Along with Thanksgiving comes the reminder to maintain an attitude of gratitude. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Kelly’s family again this year. If you’d like to delve into my thoughts on gratitude, feel free to check out this year’s Thanksliving post at Christmas All The Time.

I’ve got a lot more Christmas posts to attend to, so I’m keeping this short. I hope you have a lovely Christmas shopping weekend.
