Last Call 2021
This is the last post for this year. When I write again on Saturday, it will be next year. Seems kind of sudden, don’t you think?
New Year, New Plans

Well, my purpose is to actually make time to get my Nerdsylvania Publishing site put together and live online.
Thing is, I don’t really know what I want the site to consist of. Obviously, I need it to be the hub for my story sites and so forth, but I don’t want some stuffy-looking business site. You know?
The big push has been to get Holly and Ivy done. Having done that, I’ve got to take some time this coming long weekend to get the paperback cover prepared so it can get on KDP with the others.
After that’s done, I need to get back on with The Sentinels Tridecology. Somewhere in there, I need to get the Nerdsylvania Publishing site properly branded and laid out.
Another big plan for next year is to do what I wanted to do this year but didn’t.
Did you get all that?
I’d like to get the Holiday Season Serial Romance written, edited, formatted and scheduled before Thanksgiving 🦃 2022. Apparently, I’ll have to get it all done before 🎃 Halloween 👻 to be properly squared away because of reasons…
Geez, it’s still this year and I’m already tired on behalf of next year…
Not to mention the cataract surgery I’m having on each eye and gosh knows what other medical indignities I’ll be subjected to.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this somewhat annoying special without the far more annoying review commentary. Okay, the special is really annoying on its own.
In fact, it basically sucks. Rankin & Bass were a bit desperate to milk the franchise when they made this one.
Some Millennial schmuck who thinks he’s funny trying to make it worse, really only does so by talking. Dude, you’re not even the slightest fraction as funny as you think you are. Some YouTubers are better than others…

I’d be very happy to go on about my big plans for 2022, but I’ve been living in crunch mode for months now.
I just want to take a break and enjoy the holidays a bit.
Here’s the short list:

- Finish posting the remainder of the Holly and Ivy dailies
- Put the paperback cover together
- Get the book on KDP
- Get a bit of a head start on the 2022 Christmas All The Time monthlies
- Write The Sentinels series
- Get a better handle on the setting for Tales Of Olde Auringia
- Learn the publishing business so I can justify and offset the LLC expenses
That’s it for 2021. I’m sure Crazy Uncle Joe will find a way to make it suck even more before the ball drops on Friday night, but my part of it is done for the nonce. See you next year…
