Busy, Busy, Shockingly Busy!

As things begin to warm up outside, they’re beginning to heat up here in my virtual workspace. We’ve got a big hill to climb, so it’s only appropriate we’re kicking it off after hump day.

On the home front, Kelly is repainting the kitchen. I didn’t honestly want her to. To be fair, the woodgrain finish has seen better days but she’s having some issues with the paint. These DIY projects are fairly hair-raising and, to be perfectly honest, I don’t have a lot of hair to raise.

Rose is as snuggly-cute as ever but she’s overdue for a trim. She’s a shaggy little Pocket 🐺 Wolf with a giant attitude as it pertains to pedestrians, delivery folk and other passers-by. She’s a cuddly little ball of fluff until her enormous ears pick up an interloper. From zero to a hundred in a split second, she’s in the window sill giving them holy hell. ❤️ Utterly adorable. ❤️ Until she’s been barking ferociously for five continuous minutes that is…

Whether it’s a new piece of code or another three thousand words, I love creating almost as much as I love sleeping.

I’m beyond exhausted and I don’t know why. I should not be this tired. There’s no logical reason for it.

It makes me unhappy.

Am I accomplishing anything? No. Am I impressed? No.

So, progress would be awesome but progress isn’t in the cards. I’m just busy. That’s all I’ve got.
