I’m not as excited about chocolate covered pretzels as Kelly is. I like them. They’re tasty.
Under the heading “you are what you eat“, so is Kelly. She makes me smile the way that chocolate covered pretzels make her smile.
I smile, just because she’s there. I’m very lucky to have a wonderful best friend like her. I do my best to let her know.

How to Make Chocolate Covered Pretzels ~ Tutorial
You take pretzels and dunk them in chocolate, end of story. Just about everything is better when you dunk it in chocolate.
Needless to say, that’s not entirely kosher for my dietary needs. Sure, they have zero-sugar varieties, but it’s a pretzel. It’s still a bunch of carbs to drive my A1C up.
That being said, they are as tasty as they are tempting. I am fortunate that Kelly will eat most of them so I don’t give in.

Technically, anybody could write a Holiday Season Serial Romance. Would they? Maybe, if they were into FanFic. Could they write it the way I would? Probably not.
The ideas I’m putting into these stories are pretty uniquely mine. The stories you would write and the style in which you would write them are yours.
That’s the power of individual creativity. That’s why The Lord of the Rings is different from The Wheel of Time is different from A Song of Ice and Fire is different from D&D novelizations.
Everybody has their own voice. The more you work on remaining authentic to your own style and creativity, the more distinctive your work will be.
I’m about 8000 words into Carol’s Christmas, so I’m challenging you to go write something new and unusual of your very own.
