National Indian Pudding Day 2024
Dating back to the first Thanksgiving, National Indian Pudding Day is a harbinger of the impending holiday season.
Attitude Of Gratitude
Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings. ~William Arthur Ward
As we close in on Thanksgiving Day, it’s good to think of something my pastor said a while back.
Thanksliving!
It’s a way of living in thankfulness, gratitude and appreciation for all of life’s little blessings.
And we have so much to be grateful for. If you’re reading this, you can be thankful that you got an education that’s not available in many places.
If you’re reading this on your own computer, we’re blessed to be on the high end of 21st Century living.
If you’re reading because you know me and are interested in what I have to say about something as utterly random as Indian Pudding and Thanksliving, then I’m incredibly blessed to have you in my life and I appreciate you stopping by.
A New England Thanksgiving Dessert
Thanksgiving Indian Pudding
Apparently, Indian Pudding is a big thing in New England. It sounds tasty, but it’s not on the menu just now.

Togetherness?

And this is the part of the show where I say something pithy or inspired about writing.
Unfortunately, I’m on vacation and I’m still recovering from an extended period of exceptional overwork.
I’m tired as hell and I don’t have enough in the tank to even consider writing something meaningful.
While I’m grateful for the ability to write creatively and I’m grateful to be gainfully employed, the two don’t entirely mix.
I need to get on with my current story, but I’m mentally exhausted.
As such, I can tell you I’m supremely grateful for the respite of a brief vacation.
That’s all for this Indian Pudding Hump Day. I hope you’re having a wonderful week.
