Yes, I’m still all about Christmas All The Time, but the Wise Men have visited the manger and all the liturgical points have been enacted.

Time to get back to regular time. Time to get back to work. Time to do normal again.

That’s fine. There is actually too much of a good thing.

We need to pack it up and save it for later in the year in order for it to be special when it is time to get it back out again.

7 Tips for Packing Up Christmas Decor

Everybody has their own schedule and their own techniques.

Some just tear around the house stuffing holiday decor into boxes to put back on the shelf in the garage or in a backyard shed.

Some people have the specialized ornament totes and wreath Tupperware.

We’ve got a couple of red totes with green lids.

Kelly is very careful and methodical in setup and teardown.

I’m blessed to have such a splendid wife.

Old 🎄

Now I’m an old Christmas tree, the roots of which have died. They just come along and while the little needles fall off me replace them with medallions. ~Orson Welles

Well, 💡🎄🌟 Goodness & Lights 🌟🎄💡 is done.

It wasn’t quite as hectic as The Lights of Pine Hollow was, but I’m scorched.

January is my recovery time. A bit of overdue hibernation, aka a ❄️ long Winters nap ❄️ is now required.

I have been doing some passive planning and meta-processing for detailed stuff you won’t really see as a reader.

I’m still engaged with The Sentinels and Tales Of Olde Auringia, but I’m incredibly tired so it’s time for a break.
