Sweet Reprieve

Well, we got through that heatwave alright. Hopefully, that’s our hit for the year. Of course, the 80s are still Hell’s front porch as far as I’m concerned but it beats triple digits.

August, the summer’s last messenger of misery, is a hollow actor. ~Henry Rollins

I’m completely stalled, y’all. My head hurts and I can’t get back to it. I just don’t seem to be able to sleep enough to recover.

It’s annoying as hell.

That’s it for a mid-August Saturday. I hope you’re doing better than me.
