One could conclude that today’s “Virtual Inauguration” was as populous as any of Joe’s campaign appearances for basically the same reason or one could just blame it on the Rona.

There’s A Thought…

If Stupidity got us into this mess, then why can’t it get us out? ~Will Rogers

The only thing more profound than the establishment politicians’ ambition is their incompetence. They’ve got some serious plans for some serious shit that would have serious consequences for civilization as we know it if they weren’t so stunningly encumbered by their own colossal hubris.

Fortunately (?) we just have to wait for the idiots to get so mired in their idiocy that basically nothing happens.

Here’s waiting for less bombastic talk and more…

Idiocracy

Idiocracy – trailer

This regrettable movie is an exaggerated prediction of the next 4-8 years. I can’t actually recommend that you watch it but the overall premise is reasonably comical as are some of the running gags.

Just like our government, the whole is tragically less than the sum of its parts.

To Each His Own

Keep yourself busy if you want to avoid depression. For me, inactivity is the enemy. ~Matt Lucas

Considering how little I’m getting done this week, I’m actually ridiculously busy. I haven’t got a spare moment this week because everything I’ve been working on consistently goes to complete ☢️💩.

If I’m so busy, why am I even here writing this now?

Because it’s on my To-Do List!

That’s one item ticked ☑️ off for the week that hasn’t inadvertently turned into Chernobyl. I’d love to quit while I’m ahead but I’ve got a crapton of stuff left to do.

I’d also love to say something usefully substantial here today but sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. I’m still wrestling with some malady that just won’t loosen its grip on my body, mind or soul. I feel so awful that it’s hard to describe.

That’s all I can do today. I hope you’re having a better week than I am.
