Ouch, Dammit!
Saw the Workman’s Comp doctor today. Still hurts. Still can’t go back to work.
Another Day, Another NO Dollar
Every day I don’t go back to work is another day not paid. The job itself isn’t bad, but it does require one to be able to stand for 12 hours. With a sprained ankle, not gonna happen.
Steps To Take
If you’re suffering from the same affliction I’m currently experiencing, I hope the doctor’s recommendations in the video above are of use to you.
A Nice Safe Job
I don’t want to live life too cautiously. I mean, you can step off a curb and twist your ankle. ~Rickie Fowler
Okay, so it wasn’t a curb but it was the lovely tiled entrance to my place of work. Playing it safe and getting a job doesn’t always mean you’ll be able to get any farther ahead than attempting any other means of making an income. I’ve pinged my temp agency again for the possibility of a desk job. Hopefully, they can pull one out of their hat.
Oh well, with the extended convalescence, I’m getting farther in my book. It’s not a coherent narrative at this point. I’m writing snippets with the intention of pasting them into a narrative once the key pieces are fleshed out. It’s not my usual method, but I think it will certainly prevent the usual painting myself into a corner that usually occurs.
Yes, I’m keeping it short today. I haven’t got that much to say other than Ouch, Dammit!
