My name is Rob Knowlan and I am a self-publishing author. That sounds a bit shocking, I know, but bear with me.
I’ve been in and out of the Information Technology field for three-odd decades. That’s alright. I finally found a gig I like that pays the bills and gives me a sense of professional satisfaction. Huzzah!
Even so, I’m a nerd to the bone and ever the English major, I can’t help but tell stories for my own entertainment and (hopefully) for others’ as well.
To that end, I founded Nerdsylvania Publishing LLC to publish my works. Why? Because I don’t have the patience to jump through all the hoops of traditional publishing.
They want what they want and I want what I want. We’re past the point where the only way to get a story in someone’s hands is through the good graces of some third party.
The 21st Century is, fortunately, in full swing. We’re past the need to depend on others for permission to put ink on paper and glue on spines.
