There’s plenty to do every day of our lives, but focusing on things that truly matter in your life is what gives it meaning.
I’ve got plenty to do that isn’t important in the grand scope of life, the universe and everything, but it’s pretty darned important in the short term.
As such, it’s important that I get it done PDQ. It’s a drag on my soul to have this stuff logjamming my progress on several fronts.
Thing is, trying to deal with all this makes me so exhausted. That’s the point of the weekend. It’s a chance to kick back and recover from the struggle.
It’s a matter of balancing the need for R&R with the need to simply get 💩 done and get on with life.
