Frogs in soft choir robes sing on lily pads and logs in a glowing swamp at dusk, with fireflies and the title โ€œSwamp Singersโ€ abo

It’s a mild Saturday morning, and it won’t be long before the ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ are singing of the joys of ๐Ÿ’ Springtime ๐ŸŒท

I’m not a huge fan of warm or hot weather, but in these transitional days the evenings trend toward “just right“.

With tolerable temperatures and a setting sun comes the music of a beautiful ๐Ÿธ Spring ๐Ÿธ evening.

Our ๐Ÿบ Rose is typically mystified by the frog calls, but it is very evocative of the season.

A nice evening stroll with darling ๐Ÿบ Rose is one of the few things I like about the warmer weather.

Spring Peepers in the Maine Woods: Relaxing Frog Night Sounds

The nice thing about living out in the quiet rural expanse of Pennsylvania Coal Country is that we get to hear the peepers when the weather turns warm again.

Elbow room, fresh air, diverse flowers, rolling hills, growing vegetables and critters that sing at night are just a few things that are awesome about living out in the country.

And what are these inch-long frogs with the songs that carry for miles singing about?

It’s a bit of a coincidence that book 3 in the Sentinels Chronicle is titled, The Sentinels: Heartstrings.

This book finds many of our core and peripheral characters becoming entwined in relationships and negotiating that in a world where superheroes exist.

After the rocket launch of The Sentinels: New Blood and the absolute grinder of The Sentinels: Price of Engagement, The Sentinels: Heartstrings is a chance to take a breath and catch a ๐Ÿฅฐ case of the feels ๐Ÿ˜ before we plunge into The Sentinels: Threat Matrix and The Sentinels: Aftershocks.

We’re on a real rollercoaster of action, emotion and suspense with this series, and I’m having a great time writing it.

That’s all for today. See you back on Wednesday for growing grass…
