Honesty is a big issue these days because there is so very, very little of it.
As for me, I have a tendency to be too honest. I’m not one for sugar-coating anything but my coffee. That has gotten me in trouble at home and at large.
Too Fuckin’ Bad!
That’s really all I’ve got to say on that. I will need to sand the edges a bit as I develop my business and public author persona but as far as me being me, I’m not big on filtering. Life’s too short to waste time and effort on saying things without saying them.
As for my goals for the day, I’m sleeping the hell in. That’s the dreamy part.
When I get up, I’m going to have a nice cup of hot chocolate with a boatload of marshmallows. That’s the creamy part.
I know it’s random, but it’s hard to come up with decent titles when you’ve spent all day doing data conversion stuff. Software development and support is mentally taxing. Gimme a break…
As for goals after I wake up and after I’ve had my cocoa, I’m still running a lot closer to the wire than I’m comfortable with. I’ve got lots and lots of episodes to write in order to stay ahead on this year’s Holiday Season Serial Romance. As previously stated, the Christmas RomComs take place in the “Sentinelsverse” where my superhero novels occur. As such, sometimes the characters from that series will play a supporting role as Mary Christmas did last year or you might simply get a cameo or perhaps a flashback that involves the Sentinels or their nemeses. There will be more of that in upcoming episodes.
If I’m being honest, I have to write them first. In order to do that, I’ve gotta get some sleep. So, today’s the day for woozy-snoozing, zizz, zizz, zizz, zazz, zuzz!

Yes, I’ll admit yet again that Dorothy has got me hooked. These guys are such a pleasure to listen to. They really know how to put on a show and the fact that they’re doing it a capella never ceases to amaze me.
Natural Genius

The way this quote is stated, it makes it sound as though it was somehow exclusive. Every generation gets a world-shaking genius who changes the direction of civilization and all that.
The real fact of the matter is that it applies to each and every one of us. There’s something at which you are the natural genius created specifically to serve a particular goal. There’s something that you are singularly qualified to bring to the world.
The real tragedy is that people aren’t taught this. They wander aimlessly because they were never encouraged to pursue their passions, recognize their unique genius and actualize their Ikigai.
Instead, a lot of us run around frustrated, confused and way off track from what we were born to be. Addictions and other distractions fill the space that’s supposed to be filled with joy and purpose. It would be nice to see this fixed for folks. That would certainly get us a lot closer to Peace on Earth.
