Goodbye July
It’s the last day of July 2019 and I’m celebrating by running errands.
Ain’t Over Til It’s Over
Even though I’m posting this in the wee small hours of the day, today is basically over before it begins. I’ve got a lot of running around to do and my to-do items will just have to wait until I’m back.
Of course, all the running around makes me ridiculously tired and I’ll probably lose even more valuable time taking a nap to recover from the errands. Getting old really kinda sucks…
Last of July
Might as well let July go out with a bang!
We’re getting our own light show with all the storms blowing through. The dog was unimpressed.
Since it blew through quickly and didn’t knock out the electricity, I appreciated the pop-up thunderstorm. It did knock out the horrific RealFeel we “enjoyed” today while I was mowing the grass and changing the cat litter.
The actual temp was in the mid-90s but the accumulated meteorological phenomena made it feel like 105°F instead. Once the storm whipped through, things became less miserable. If only it could stay that way…

So, I’m back on track with my writing and am progressing with Deke’s weekend in protective custody. Unfortunately, I only seem to be able to write late at night.
This leaves my days free to drive from horizon to horizon on random errands and medical appointments but it also gives me a chance to catch up on some of my other endeavors.
I need to ditch Cloudflare and apply the SSL certificates to my sites that are available through my own hosting vendor. Once I got wind of this, I’ve been scouring the net for the how-tos and whys of it all.
Among the tons of things I need to do for my long-neglected sites, getting HostGator SSL certificates on them instead of relying on a redirect is at the front of the list.
Lots of errands to run today. Talk to you next month.
