Merry Milestones

I’ve been tearing through my Christmas dailies like an elf in the workshop. I’ve only got a few more to complete the Advent section.

Progress

I’ve got another symptom that may be an indicator of progress.

Where the circle of burning/tearing pain around the inside-side of my left ankle was, there is now a steak-knife-in-the-leg sensation. I’ve still got a pokey-pulling sensation on the outside-side of my ankle, but it’s nowhere near the shanked-with-a-screwdriver sensation I had a while back.

So, I’m scheduled through next Sunday. That’s progress. Just another week to write up and then the big day is here!

Once that’s sorted out, there’s…

Twelve Days of Christmas

I typically have a theme worked out for the 12 Days, so it makes it easier to get them done. I have a notion of what I’d like to do this year, but I’m not married to it. I’ll probably do something else instead. Either way, having a coherent theme helps to get it done.

K.I.S.S.

Order and simplification are the first steps toward the mastery of a subject. ~Thomas Mann

That’s the way to complete a project. You boil it down to basics and take simple steps until it’s done. That sounds wonderful, but sometimes the volume is pretty overwhelming whether you’ve simplified it or not. Next year, I want to be done my Christmas dailies by Labor Day so I can actually take time to enjoy the holidays.

Either way, it’s clear I’m not going to the right malls. Check out the videos below. The only thing better than flash mobs is Scots-Irish flash mobs!

I’m keeping this one short because I still have to finish my Advent sequence. No rest for the Merry. Ho! Ho! Ho!
