May is moving right along. We’ve got a mix of sunny and rainy, today falls into the latter category. Even if you can’t stand out at the grill on the back porch, it’s always a good time for a sizzling steak dinner…

It’s a rainy 💐 Spring 🌷 Saturday, so the back porch is no place to be this afternoon. ☔
Fortunately, I’ve got a rump roast in the over and I don’t have to worry about me or my steak getting soggy due to ambient conditions.
So much the better, it’s giving me time to conduct literary analysis of my work in progress.

If I’m grilling steak, I’m not writing.
Right now, that’s not an acceptable trade-off.
I’m really making a lot of progress and the story is coming along quite nicely.
The goal for book three was to cover the span of 4/8/2005 to 5/29/2005, but I’m only 3 days in and I’m already at chapter 20.
Guess we’ll see if I need to come up with another title to go between The Sentinels: Heartstrings and The Sentinels: Threat Matrix.
