Well, the work keeps piling up and the time to deal with it keeps slipping away.
I’ve been burning the way-after-midnight 🪔 oil recently and it has done some good, but I’m way too old and broken down to keep it up much longer.
I’ve been working on my project management skills of late and it has paid some dividends.
I just need to tighten the system and work in manageable units.
In theory, if I could get heads down in a specific project for one or two 45 minute sprints, I’d be significantly further ahead than I currently am.
In reality, just trying to focus on one project for that long is constantly interrupted by a dozen other things. It’s almost inevitable that if I decide to do a thing, aspects of all the other things will jump the queue and demand priority.
Fortunately, my place of work provides a subscription to LinkedIn Learning. This service has a lot of great courses for specific technical skills and shorter ones for pressing topics like time management. It’s been a help…

I still haven’t caught up on The Boys, but Connor tells me it’s quite a rollercoaster this week. Also need to catch up on The Orville and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
At least I got my Christmas In June article done in the St. Nick 🎅🏻 of time…

So, with the big push at work, The Sentinels are held in stasis. Again, just as well. I still need to work out a template like the one I have set up for my Holiday Season Serial Romances.
Templates make my life so much easier.
Certainly, they give me enough structure to make a coherent product but are bare bones enough to facilitate creativity.
If only there was enough time to do everything that needs doing…
