Haircut For The Yard

Happy mid-season Hump 🐫 Day. Kelly was away recently so I thought I’d do her a favor by tending to the lawn. It was looking rather messy, so I gave it a lovely trim…

It was great. The mower started on the first pull.

It had been stowed safely away for the season, but it started right up.

I took that as a good sign and simply got the job done.

Kelly likes to mow, but it was supposed to rain on Sunday so I just did it while she was away.

I love giving her little surprises like that because she receives them as kindly as I intended them.

Mow Like A Pro

How to MOW, TRIM, EDGE and Blow your grass

Me? I just do the diminishing shape thing.

I clip a somewhat naturally occurring polygon in the yard and mow my way inward until it’s gone.

Would it be neat to have a plaid lawn like that?

I guess. I don’t crave a plaid lawn enough to put in the effort.

I don’t like being outside and the lawn looked fine when I was done.

If you care about such things, the tips are there in the video.

Growth

The secret of getting ahead is getting started. ~Mark Twain

My idea of getting ahead is having two books and fifteen chapters of the third book completed.

What I do like putting effort into is the Sentinels Chronicle.

lol, I’m up to Chapter Fifteen of The Sentinels: Heartstrings and that’s just the weekend of April 9th & 10th of 2005.

Despite the romantic-sounding title, this book has gotten off to a rip-roaring start and will definitely earn its shocking climax.

You’ll have to wait and see when I’ve written up to May 29th, 2005 for how that turned out.

That’s all for today. See you back on Saturday for πŸ’™ 34 πŸ’‘πŸ» amour πŸ€πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
