Happy Halloween! What better day for Halloween than a Saturday? The weekend gets us a bit of relaxation that helps us gear up for taking the kids out in search of bulk quantities of Halloween candy in our bags or buckets…

Whimsy

Is it so wrong to still want some of that childhood whimsy in my life? ~Caroline Stohrer

A classic Halloween moon is definitely a big glowing full moon, but our current phase is actually almost better.

The gibbous waning moon is like a monster slipping back into the shadows.

With the ๐Ÿ‚autumnal color๐Ÿ‚ in our trees and the formerly full moon in the sky, it’s a perfect night for Trick or Treating.

Labor Day, Columbus Day, Halloween, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s.

We love our holidays and the fun features that go with them.

For me, it’s a kind of warm-up period (even though it’s getting progressively colder ๐Ÿฅถ) for writing my annual Holiday Season Serial Romances.

This year has been stalled by exhaustion, but we’re back on track this weekend.

Dennis and Niki have more potholes to dodge before they get their happily ever after.

That’s what I’m up to this weekend. My kids are grown and capable of buying their own candy.

Me? I need to get my fingers on the keys and finish this story in time for the Christmas reading season.
