Air Fried Authorship
Happy Hazy Hump π« Day! We’re on our way out of July and the world feels like we’re sitting in an air fryer. Well, that’s π summer π₯ for you, so let’s moderate the misery…
π« You Can Only Take So Much Off π
Heat, ma’am! it was so dreadful here that I found there was nothing left for it but to take off my flesh and sit in my bones. ~Sydney Smith
People always say they prefer the heat to the cold, but with cold you can always add another layer.
Wooly socks, long johns, couple of blankets, all possible.
When it’s hot? You can’t go much farther than buck nekkid unless you’re going to stand in the shower and let cold water run all over you.
Ain’t nobody got time for all that…
Miss me with the tropical temps and scorching sun.
Sure, I’ll miss the bikinis, crop tops and booty shorts.
I’m looking forward to ππ§Έβ Cozy Season βΊοΈπ₯§π, and it won’t be much longer now.
Besides, leggings are just as sexy and Kelly has really, really nice legs. π€π»

It’s a bit bizarre for her to yell at me about cooking when she’s not even here to be made hot by it, but I am expressly forbidden to use the oven in the hottest days of the year.
Okay, fair enough. Thank God I have an air fryer, then.
As the lovely woman in the video above points out, you can do an awful lot in an air fryer and I don’t make nearly enough in it.
I’ve done mozzy sticks, chicken fries, burgers, full meals (for myself) even.
The stuff in the video is next-level, so it would be a pretty good idea for me to rewatch it and take some more tips.

Heat π₯΅ Wave
If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back? ~Steven Wright
Only if it was a farewell kind of wave.
Stay over there, I like my Pennsylvania countryside temperate.
In fairness, though, I always have a fan on.
Dead of winter? Fan.
Why?
Because I generate heat on my own.
I need a fan blowing on me pretty much year ’round to mitigate the heat sink that is me.
It’s either having a fan on or I get my human popsicle of a wife to siphon it off of me.
That works while we’re watching a movie or binging a season of something, but Robby needs to keep writing.
That’s another thing.
Feels like my brain’s going to catch fire if I don’t have a chance to beat those keys and get some writing done.
So, as engaging as binging a season of Reacher might be, I’ve got my own stories to tell and I can only sit around watching TV for so long.
Of course, that’s later.
The last thing she wants to be sitting next to in the middle of summer is a human furnace.
That’s okay. It’s more writing time for me and more control of what’s on the screen for her.
Who could ask for anything more?
White Christmas – Heat Wave
