All Marched Out

It’s the last day of March. Spring is in full effect and I’m completely exhausted.

Back when I was in my twenties, all-nighters were not a big deal. Now, in my fifties, it exacts a price.

My body pays the price. My family pays the price. My state of mind pays the price.

I’m trying really hard to avoid situations where that becomes “necessary”. I don’t always succeed.

I’d prefer to be writing tonight. I’d like to put some cycles toward where the story is going and how the characters are riding those plotlines.

The month is over and so am I.


That’s it. March goes out on a fizzle. I can barely string two coherent words together. I’m going back to bed. 🛌🏻
