Bees fly through a lush late-spring flower garden carrying glowing droplets of honey beneath the title β€œHoney Smugglers” in warm vintage lettering.

🍯 Honey 🐝 Smugglers 🍯

It’s another scorching May Hump πŸͺ Day and we’re waiting for a storm to roll through to cool things off again before the upcoming holiday…

🐝 Spices From A Million Flowers 🌼

Bees do have a smell, you know, and if they don’t they should, for their feet are dusted with spices from a million flowers. ~Ray Bradbury, Dandelion Wine

Another sign of πŸ’ Spring 🌷 is the return of 🐝 bees 🐝.

You’re not wrong to flinch when you see one buzz your way.

You never know when they’re going to take a time-out from their pollen delivery duties to sting you.

If you can keep your distance, you may be amazed to see these things flying.Β They’re quite ungainly.

Even though they seem like jolly little balloons who have no discernible reason to be able to fly as they do, they go about their business.

Left to their own devices, they simply do what nature needs them to do. They wake the world up again after a ❄️ long Winters nap ❄️.

Bee Facts – All About Honeybees, Bumblebees and Queen Bees

Wooly caterpillars? Adorable

Hairy spiders? Run! Hide!

Sorry, I just can’t…

🍯 Busy Bee 🐝

The busy bee has no time for sorrow. ~William Blake

And I certainly am a busy bee.

I’m cranking right along, doing all kinds of things.

Of all the things I have to do, I enjoy writing the most.

And so I do.

Book 3, Chapter 25 and plenty to go.

Soon, I’ll have to put the air conditioners in the windows so I can continue writing in comfort…

That’s all for today. See you back on Saturday for Memorial Day weekend…
