Creeping up on the end of September, the weather has kindly pivoted to properly 🍂autumnal🍂 and I ain’t mad at it.
With the aforementioned nor’easter chasing around, it’s a fantastic day to stay home and chill properly.
I have some acorn squash that are desperately waiting for some proper 🍽️ kitchen witchery 🧙🏼♀️.
I’ve been waiting days to get enough time to make these little beauties, and now it’s time.
We can have some 🍁🧸☕ cozy cuisine ☺️🥧🍂 and a lovely hygge afternoon.

Full credit to the Danes for coming up with a single word that summarizes how I feel about my favorite season.
Check out the videos I’ve embedded to find out more about the concept of hygge, but it is a cultural touchstone that helps them get through long northern tier winters.
For me, it’s what makes me look forward with such earnest joy to the coming of my favorite season.
