Last Call…

So, we’re looking at the last of the Summery misery in my neck of the woods today. Tomorrow (God willing), 🍁Autumn🍂 will begin for real.

Can’t Breathe

So, my chest has been in pain for so freaking long that it effectively refuses to move as originally designed. Trying to take a decent deep breath of air is darned near impossible. I have to struggle to take a deep breath or yawn or any such thing.

It seems I have to wait a while longer for the prednisone to alleviate the pain enough for me to be able to get my lungs properly filled. Unfortunately, the problem is exacerbated by the seemingly never-ending Summertime.

Too Damned Hot!

🤣 Apparently, I’m not the only one who feels this way about Summer 🤣

It’s the Second of October for God’s sake!

Of all the wonderful things about summer, exactly zero of them are wonderful right now. The crops are grown and are in the process of being harvested and sold at lovely farm stands throughout the region. That’s basically the good stuff of summer.

All the pollen and the bugs and the perspiration and the risk of sunburn, that can all pack out. Enough is enough. I want Autumn to be Autumn. Theoretically, that starts tomorrow. I’m not believing a word of it until I’ve had a solid week or two of the brr that’s supposed to come with October.

Utterly Useless

Having tools and not using them is certainly useless. I have a lot of resources and I’m working on putting them to some use that will generate income. Not everybody understands that it’s actually possible to generate income without a job.

I’m working. I’m just not getting paid. That comes later when the project is done.

Christmas All The Time

I’ve got a good start on A Misfit Christmas. It’s a romantic holiday comedy in the spirit of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies that will drip out daily from Black Friday through Twelfth Night.

The Sentinels

I had taken a little hiatus from writing the first of the five Sentinels novels in order to work on content for Pioneer Skill Set, but I’m back on track and have been beating the keys ferociously in order to tell the story of our intrepid heroes.

I got the updated site squared away and am adding new articles on the five crucial factors to surviving any emergency. I’m stocking up the Pioneer Skill Set Pinterest Board and I’ll be coming out with new videos for Season 2.

That’s it. I have errands to run and work to do. I’ll see you Saturday when it’s supposed to be solidly in the season after 🌞 Summer 🌄.
