So, we’ve had COVID19, TP shortages, Murder Hornets, anarcho-jackassery, technocensoring and all that. Is it any wonder that an age-old process such as running an election is subject to such astonishing degrees of ratchetness this year?

So, any other year in the history of humanity, we’d know who won the US Presidential election by now.
But, hey, this is 2020…
There are crack(head) teams of specialists working through all the magical mail-in ballots. They’re actually so efficient that they managed to find more votes for Biden in Wisconsin than there are eligible voters. Similar efforts are taking place here in Potholevania.
Go figure…
Looked like Trump had a clear win right up to the point where everybody went home for the night (unprecedented, actually). So, mysteriously, when they started counting again this morning there was a surge of “found” Biden votes.
I wonder if they’re counting all the Trump votes that were recovered from homes, vehicles, dumpsters, landfills, creeks and lakes across the country quite as diligently.

People don’t think you’re quite a man if you’re not handy. Well, frankly, I’m not. I’m not as haphazard as Mr. Bean but I’m not far off.

The stuff I’m working on is all about space. In one case, literally.
In all the genres, I’m creating an alternate space where things that don’t happen here are fairly commonplace. Superheroes, sorcery, nations in space. All things to look forward to. All things to help people escape the freakishness of “reality”.
Ultimately, it’s my own proclivity for avoiding reality and dodging the mundane that has brought me to the point where I can attempt to share my escapist fantasies with the world at large.
I hope my efforts will measure up.
I’m one step closer. My company seal came today. Building slowly and surely will ensure the structure stands for a long time to come.
