National Crepe Suzette Day 2023

Emmeline and Connor have both marked their college graduations at this point. Connor is headed off to Grad School while Emmeline has just finished her Master’s Degree.
On the other hand, Connor has just achieved his Master’s Black Belt (Fourth Degree!). Coincidentally, Connor achieved his Master’s rank on May the Fourth, which makes him somewhat like a Jedi Master.
To celebrate all of these amazing achievements, we’ll be going to Heisler’s to whack some golf balls. Who knows? We might also play miniature golf while we’re there.
It’s one of those rare weekends when we all get to be in the same location at once and have some fun.
Chances are, we’ll probably get to play a couple rounds of Dominion before Emmeline, Hendrik and the doggos head home.

Okay, fortunately, I found a sugar-free crepe recipe to try out. I could even take the lazy route and get some pre-made sugar-free mixes.
Be that as it may, I’m generally either too busy or too lazy to pull off such a feat. I do make dinner for the family almost every day, but that’s a matter of necessity. This is more of a treat, and who really has time for all that?
I could find someone to do it for me, but such people usually make the usual kind with real sugar. I’m trying to keep my A1C down, so that’s not really an option.
We’ll see. I wouldn’t mind some sugar-free treats, but I just can’t be bothered to make the effort. Treats that you don’t make always have zero calories…
