Stay Frosty, Boys
Happy too dang hot Hump πͺ Day! We’re supposed to be seeing some frosted pumpkins around here, but it’s hot as heck again…

It is akin to sin to spend such a day in the house. ~Henry David Thoreau
Well, not if you correctly decided to leave the air conditioner in the window until such an event as this had passed.
I am perfectly fine staying indoors with my climate control, thank you, Mr. Thoreau.
Am I terribly surprised? No.
There’s always some miserable resurgence of my least favorite season before the frosting takes proper hold.
Frosted
When the Frost is on the Punkin ~by James Whitcomb Riley – read by Brian Lowry

Fodder’s In The Shock
When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder’s in the shock… ~James Whitcomb Riley
Preparedness is good, but cooling the heck off for πautumnπ is better.
I had a lovely long weekend for writing, and One Little Thing π has five episodes complete and thirty-five episodes more to be written.
That’s approximately 10,000 words in a fairly short stretch, so that’s pretty encouraging.
I think I can actually beat that this weekend, but we’ll see.
In addition to the actual story, I created a number of digital assets to help create the post header graphics that you see on my Holiday Season Serial Romance episodes.
The point of that is to try to get more consistent character images across this year’s episodes.
I have another idea that may or may not work, we’ll see how it shakes out.
If it works, I’ll be announcing it here and putting it on the Christmas All The Time YouTube Channel.
On the Sentinels Chronicle side of things, I’m still running an editing and literary analysis pass on the nearly 465,000 words of the first two complete books and the third which is still a work in progress.
Lots done. Lots to do. Got to get back to it.
That’s all for today. See you back on Saturday for β οΈπ¦π©π©π©
