Feeling A Bit Taxed

Adjusting to the new situation and all attendant medications has been a bit of a challenge but I was actually a bit more clear-headed than I’ve been in a while. Even so, I was absolutely knackered when I hit the sheets last night.

The mystery of government is not how Washington works but how to make it stop. ~P. J. O’Rourke

Yeah, a lot of crap coming from inside the beltway needs to freaking stop but the Blue Team thinks that the recent election represents a mandate to try USSR 2.0

Not so much. There are a lot of questions about the 2020 election that still need to be addressed while the Blue Team continues to try to create a woketopia.

However, particularly since it’s told in first person from the eyes of a variety of viewpoint characters, we’ll need to see some of the details of everyday life through those eyes, ears, noses, fingers and even their tongues. The details will be a reflection of their personalities and perspectives.

I’ll have to put some serious thought into what to include in order to highlight differences in the milieu, foreshadow plot elements, illustrate the characters’ interests and blind spots. That’s one of my many upcoming challenges.

That’s today for you. I’m already feeling a little fuzzy and I’ve still got plenty to do.
