March πŸ€ Magic

We’ve finally begun the magical month of πŸ€MarchπŸ€. We’re that much closer to Springtime and all of the horrors of a resurgent biosphere. Bugs, pollen, sunny days that just keep getting longer, it’s enough to make a grown man cry…

Magically πŸ€ Delicious

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. ~Arthur C. Clarke

And I had some serious jujumagumbo strike today. Hours and hours I fussed over this thing and right when I was ready to check it in, it checked out. Poof! The big suckarooski. Hours of work gone in an instant.

I fuckin’ hate when that happens!!!

Oh well, at least there are still Shamrock ☘️ Shakes to be had. And thanks to the geniuses at the various dollar stores, there are also knock-off Thin πŸ–€ Mints to be had pretty much year-round.

πŸ€ Oh πŸ€ Oh πŸ€ Oh πŸ€ It’s πŸ€

The πŸ€ Charm πŸ€ Of πŸ€ Making

A dream doesn’t become reality through magic. It takes sweat, determination, and hard work. ~Kevin-Prince Boateng

Actually, magic can require a lot of sweat, determination and hard work as well. When Merlin invoked the Charm of Making in order to set up a scenario where Uther Pendragon could ride into Cornwall and get jiggy with Igrayne in full, shiny-shiny plate armor in the movie, Excalibur, it wore him out something awful.

Not only did I lose the better part of a day’s work today, I’m completely unable to make any progress in writing my story. The vague outlines continue to stir in my mind, but nothing I can commit to a page. It’s really irritating.

Even if Spring is getting closer, with all of its attendant horrors, that also means that πŸ‚ Autumn πŸ‚ approaches just as quickly. Now, there’s something to look forward to…
