October Surprise 2018
It’s a hell of a day in the neighborhood. I had a bit of running around to do today.
Which Exit?
So, I had a Worker’s Comp checkup in the morning and an Independent Medical Examination scheduled for the afternoon. For some strange reason, the afternoon appointment was scheduled in Bala Cynwyd.
Where the hell is Bala Cynwyd?
I knew it’s somewhere in the Philadelphia metrosprawl, but not specifically where. So, what does one do? Google it! Hit Google Maps and print out driving directions. No problemo. Right?
Wrong!
So, we’re driving down the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the next thing says go to exit 339 and get onto US1.
Nope!
Exit 339 of the East-West Pennsylvania Turnpike is Rt309 at Fort Washington, not US1. So, I get on and head further eastward looking for the ACTUAL exit to US1. It’s actually exit 352. So, now I’m on US1 southbound toward gosh-knows-where. Certainly not the doctor’s office. Just some-freaking-where in Northeast Philly.
By the time I realize I’m hopelessly lost, I am also egregiously late for the appointment and have been provided NO contact information. Ridiculous. Well, I did finally find my way there and the doctor had already gone home for the day. Geez! Theoretically, they’ll be rescheduling. What a waste of a perfectly good half of a tank of gas…
Imagine my surprise when I finally found the place to be somewhere I actually know how to get to in almost half the time. It has absolutely no relation to the Google Maps instructions. Whenever I get rescheduled, I’ll know how to get there with no thanks to Google Maps. 😠
Working
I got the disk definitions all done for my first Zombie Apocalypse DVD. I just need to get the back of the DVD case done, the insert sheet and figure out the best way to use the Kunaki purchasing apparatus. Fortunately, I was able to use the project files for Communist Plot To Eat My Brain to define a kind of template for the other 3 double-feature disks. The next up is Voodoo Villainy.
I have also begun my holiday season daily posts on Christmas All The Time so that they will be ready to go live each day starting with Thanksgiving Day and wrapping up on Epiphany of 2019.
I’m also working on a project with help from my friend, Liz Tomey, that will be rolling out in the next couple of weeks. More on that as I get things up and running. It’s going to be a big surprise when it launches.

So, George (the admitted Nazi collaborator) Soros got a letter-bomb in his mailbox on Monday. They intercepted it and safely detonated it. That’s one way to go with it. It’s SOP, but it also destroys most of the evidence. Coincidental how that happens.
Today, a bunch of big-name Democrats were sent letter-bombs. Note that they did not actually arrive. They were sent to former POTUSes Clinton and Obama. As such, the Secret Service screens for that kind of thing. There were some sent to some other noteworthies as well.

Apparently, these bombs were actually acquired intact and will be subject to intense scrutiny. Sending bombs through the mail is definitely a federal offense and there’s going to be hell to pay. The FBI may even be compelled to prosecute a Democrat. Nah, who the hell am I kidding?¿?
Clearly, the intention is for us to believe that some right-winger has finally stooped to the level of the Loony Left and started getting violent.
After months and years of slavering nutters on the far left:
- shooting up Congressional baseball practice
- hassling members of the serving Administration to the point that they have to leave restaurants in the middle of meals
- assaulting Senators in their offices
- vandalizing
- blocking traffic and menacing drivers
- making threats
- saying that the children of members of the serving Administration should be turned over to pedarasts
…and all the other savagely inappropriate things that AntiFa, celebretards, BLM, Fake News outlets, Occupy Wherever socialist squatter hippies, purple-haired pussy hat wearing feminazis, DACA Dreamers, condescending academics and every other leftist mob of rent-a-rioters have done since late 2015.
Problem is that Conservatives are typically too busy working, raising their kids and otherwise minding their own business to send a bunch of verkochte bombs through the mail to people who never even open their own mail!
Sure, there are nutters in every demographic.
No matter how hard the Left has tried to corner the market on free-range lunatics, there are definitely kooks in every group. Despite the infantile attempt at creating a narrative here, I don’t believe for a minute that it was a disgruntled Trump supporter.
I won’t be terribly surprised when the FBI and all associated agencies who will be looking into this come to the conclusion that it was a poorly scripted and executed inside job by some jackass Democrat staffer.
They’re so ridiculously pathetic.
The playbook has worn out and they’re acting recklessly out of pure desperation. The truth will come out before long, but nobody will be prosecuted because they’re neither former Trump staffers nor imaginary Russians. Those seem to be the only people who face prosecution these days.
The Midterm elections are only two weeks away.
Early voting nationwide is trending favorably for the Republicans. As October Surprises go, this one is definitely a dud. Add to that the horde of people from various points in Central America who are expected to arrive at our Southern border on or around Election Day (hmm, who’s organizing that I wonder) and you’ve got the formula for a very anti-DNC outcome.
The artificially anticipated Blue Wave is gonna be the Blue Wave Goodbye as they lose a lot of key seats in the Senate and hopefully the House of Representatives, too.
Week’s half over and there’s tons more to do. Let’s knuckle down and get it cranked out!
