Time For Justice

I’ve been busily trying to catch up since I’ll be away at jury duty tomorrow. Supposed to be warm and ⛈️ stormy, so I’ll be glad to be inside for that. I guess the April showers are kicking off a day early.

⚖️ Jury Duty Tomorrow 🏛️

A jury consists of twelve persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer. ~Robert Frost

Remains to be seen which way it will go. I’ve had jury duty that went right to a case and I’ve had it where I was excused early in the afternoon.

Either way, it’s one day less for me to get things done at work, which is kind of annoying.

The good thing is that there will be a fair amount of waiting around, leaving me a hot moment to try the Snowflake ❄️ Method of story plotting.

I rarely go out but when I do, I take at least one notepad and pen with me on the off chance that I’ll have a moment to think about what to write next.

Moon 🌙 Knight

MOON KNIGHT Episode 1 Breakdown & Ending Explained Spoiler Review | Easter Eggs & Things You Missed

I finally got to see the first episode of the new Moon Knight series on Disney+.

Despite all of Kelly’s complaining, it did not disappoint.

We got a hint of the action to come when Marc’s personality will have more screen time rather than being the lost time segments in Steven’s day.

We also got a last minute view of the better-than-comics version of his costume.

They’ve got a lot of new series coming out this year that are going to be quite enjoyable. There’s a She-Hulk series, one for Ms. Marvel and even a Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.

Not to mention a slew of Phase 4 movies and other Marvel properties coming down the pike

Fortunately, the superhero craze isn’t going away any time soon.

I’m getting my ISBNs this year, so we’ll be seeing at least one of The Sentinels books in a few months as well as this year’s Holiday Season Serial Romance.

🖊️ With A Notebook 🗒️

And the idea of just wandering off to a cafe with a notebook and writing and seeing where that takes me for awhile is just bliss. ~J. K. Rowling

So, it won’t be a cafe but I will probably have some free time tomorrow as I wait to see how voir dire works out.

One has to take advantage of such opportunities as they come. I’m anticipating good things.

Actually, the first step of the Snowflake ❄️ Method is complete for book one.

Step 1) Take an hour and write a one-sentence summary of your novel.

The Sentinels: New BloodBeing a superhero isn’t all it’s cracked up to be

Step 2) Take another hour and expand that sentence to a full paragraph describing the story setup, major disasters, and ending of the novel.

That’s the next step. I’ll be giving that some thought after I post this.

Step 3) The above gives you a high-level view of your novel. Now you need something similar for the storylines of each of your characters.

I have pretty much all of this sorted out as well, so that’s a plus.

Step 4) By this stage, you should have a good idea of the large-scale structure of your novel, and you have only spent a day or two.

Aaaaand, this is work for tomorrow (assuming I don’t get it done tonight).

There are still steps 5-10 to do in order to really seal the deal, but this seems like a good start. We’ll see how it pans out.

That’s it for today. I’ve got other things to accomplish before beddy🛌🏻byes. I hope you’re having a productive Hump 🐪 Day, too.
