Rose is our bastion of safety and freedom, and she takes her job quite seriously.

Whether it’s the Amazon delivery people, random pedestrians, kids playing up the street or those confounded rabbits who vex her with their uninhibited front yard frolicking, she stands as the bulwark of serenity and order in our home.

She is a fuzzy little hero who protects us from the insidious forces of chaos outside the front windows with her machine gun barking.

If those agents of chaos could actually hear her rebuking them as loudly as we do in the living room, they’d surely quake and mind their P’s & Q’s.

If you don’t have an overprotective Pocket 🐺 Wolf, you surely don’t know what you’re missing.

I couldn’t help but look around to see if there was such a thing as Wolf style Kung Fu, and here we are.

From what I saw in the video, it looks somewhat like Dragon style but they added jumps and the attack vector seems to be lower.

Presumably, that’s to emulate a wolf attacking you from waist high.

For me, when I think of animal styles, I come right back to the Five Deadly Venoms.

My favorite one is the Centipede with his superspeed punching.

I’ve seen Sheng Chiang in a bunch of kung fu movies and enjoy his heroic and villainous roles.

I could probably say that I get peace of mind from having Rose guarding the battlements of Chateau Knowlan.

Not sure that’s entirely true, but I could say it.

In any case, with or without my Pocket 🐺 Wolf acting as ferocious sentry, I’m cracking right along with The Sentinels: Heartstrings.

I’m expecting to be done with Chapter 42 and maybe even 43 in fairly short order.

Just like all the lovely fruits and veggies in my rural corner of Pennsylvania, my word count is growing steadily and getting juicier by the page.
