Alright! Now we’re cookin’ with gas! I’ve gotten to the point of my course where I’m teaching the setup and population of a YouTube channel to generate traffic to my squeeze page. I’m also repurposing the content in the video to various formats to maximize the avenues for traffic.

Six-Gun Traffic

This is my secret weapon, bwa-ha-ha! Well, it’s no secret. It’s just what I’m calling it to create a unique selling proposition. You’re curious already, aren’t you? Bwa-ha-ha! I’m not even selling this thing yet and you’re already wondering what’s in it!

Well, mum’s the word.

At least for now, it is. No point in letting the cat out of the bag. Suffice it to say that this is going to turn on a flood of laser targeted traffic.

Gimpy

As for me, the ankle is acting up again. Kelly and I went out on errands yesterday evening and I thought I was going to fall right over. Yeeeowch! Not cool. Not cool at all.

Oh well, at least I got to spend some quality time browsing around with my favorite person in the world and I didn’t keel over and plotz onto the floor. Truth be told, it was even money. Time to wrap the ankle and enjoy some Netflix.

Some More Rules

Rule #185-187: Not yet cited in Star Trek episodes, movies or novels

We must make the best of those ills which cannot be avoided

A lot of times, there are things we don’t want to deal with. Nevertheless, deal with them we must. Consider it life’s dose of medicine. Facing and dealing with adversity, whether large or small, builds character and it also reveals it. How we deal with problems shows what we’re made of.

Rule #188: Not even dishonesty can tarnish the shine of profit

Well, maybe not for the Ferengi but it sure can put a dent in your business here in the real world. You can fool all of the people some of the time and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all of the time. Particularly in the Information Age, misdeeds have a way of catching up to you. Skeletons will walk right out of the closet when you need them to stay put.

Honesty is the best policy, as they say. You can polish the facts a bit to make effective sales copy, but you cannot use out and out lies. Do not lie. Do not trick people. Do not sell crap. Your future will thank you for maintaining integrity and profits.

Rule #189: Let others keep their reputation. You keep their money.

Whoa there, cowboy! Take that and totally reverse it!

Let others keep their money. You keep your reputation.

Me oh my! If your reputation is crap, you’re not going to make any money! Better to have no sales than one legitimate complaint. You could get your PayPal account shut down. You could get your affiliate status revoked. You could be banned from sales platforms like JVZoo, WarriorPlus or Zaxaa. You could be out of business indefinitely.

Do. Not. Tarnish. Your. Reputation!

Rule #190: Hear all, trust nothing

A rare piece of good advice from our large-eared friends from Ferenginar. Yes, keep your ears wide open for opportunity but do not believe everything you’re pitched. There are a lot of promises and very few deliveries these days. Everybody has an angle. Everybody has screen captured earnings and armies of testimonials, but you still need to guard your wallet and your mind.

Only buy what you actually need to conduct your business. Some things seem awesome at first glance, but buyers remorse is almost as heavy a burden as an empty wallet. Be careful. Be thoughtful. Be intentional. Stay focused and do what you do without buying everything that hits your inbox.

So, now that I have the basics of my Six-Gun Traffic worked out, I’ve just got to keep cranking out articles and pistol-whipping them into red hot traffic magnets!
